Welcome to Words by Silva.
I love my family, friends, my dog, and New York.
I live in Naarm, in the Boonwurrung Nation, AKA Melbourne. I love my bayside neighbourhood.
And I love writing too - always have. From diaries as a teen, to daily journals as an adult. From self-publishing a vegan book with a foreword written by Mr Philip Wollen OAM, to writing a Master's research thesis (for which I won an award).
Writing is in my blood (my grandfather was a prominent journalist in Europe). I can honestly say that crafting content and copy is my purpose.

Benefits of working with me
My background is varied, and that adds to my areas of expertise and knowledge.
My tertiary studies are in Health Science. I have worked as a case worker in the community, a training consultant for health software products, a subject matter expert for TAFE, and as a yoga and mindfulness teacher.
But nothing excites me more than writing.
That’s why in 2022 I undertook formal training in content and copywriting.
I have written copy for Yoga Australia and yoga teachers, health coaches, wellness magazines, medical doctors, and financial experts.
In 2011 I self-published a book.
In 2021 I received the Executive Dean’s Award for my Master’s Research Thesis.
2023 has been life-changing as I completed an internship with Shot of Copy, taking my content, copy and strategy skills to a whole new level.
